This Hospital data analysis project leverages ETL/ELT pipelines to provide actionable insights across Doctors, Patient, Surgert and Medicine presented through Power BI dashboards covering overall performance, KPIs, patient info, and Medicine metrics.

The Overview Page serves as a high-level executive summary of the hospital’s overall performance. It offers a concise snapshot of key health indicators, enabling hospital management and medical staff to quickly understand the current situation and identify important trends affecting patient care and operations.

Key metrics displayed on this page include the total number of patients, current bed occupancy, number of active doctors on duty, and the hospital’s overall operational efficiency score. The page also features visualizations such as trend lines showing admission and discharge counts over time, as well as summary cards highlighting the most important current figures, such as available beds or the latest average length of stay.

By bringing these critical data points together, the Overview Page empowers users to rapidly assess hospital performance, make informed decisions, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Its purpose is to offer a clear, top-down perspective of hospital activity, supporting both day-to-day management and long-term planning.

The Patient Page displays the complete details of each patient, including personal information such as name, age, gender, contact details, and address. It also lists the doctors currently attending to the patient, along with their respective departments and roles in the patient’s care.

Furthermore, the Patient Page offers a comprehensive breakdown of all charges and expenses associated with the patient’s care. This includes medication costs, consultation fees, surgery or procedure costs, room charges, laboratory tests, and spending in other areas such as nursing care or special services

The Doctor Page displays comprehensive information about each doctor, including their name, age, department, salary, qualifications, years of experience, and contact details. It provides a complete profile to help manage and review the doctors’ credentials and backgrounds.

The Surgery Page presents details about the surgeries performed by each doctor. This includes the number of surgeries conducted, types of procedures, patient names, dates, causes for surgery, outcomes, and any post-operative notes. This page helps track and manage surgical histories for both doctors and patients.

The Medicine Page contains detailed information related to medicines, including sales data, current stock levels, supplier information, unit prices, expiry dates, monthly and annual sales statistics, and inventory alerts. It helps in monitoring medicine availability and streamlines pharmacy management.
